Bio
Dr. Yuan is a visiting assistant professor of sociology at Wake Forest University. She received her doctorate in sociology from the University at Buffalo, SUNY. Her research interests include cross-national studies, public opinion on health care system/s, aging and the life course, socio-legal studies, and mixed methods. Her work has appeared in Health Policy, Socius: Sociological Research for a Dynamic World, International Journal of Comparative Sociology, and Families, Relationships and Societies and Health Policy. Her current research is focused mainly on the impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic on older adults in Singapore and in the United States.
